Nathaniel Wilber Frost
Mayor of Calvertown
Elected in 1919 for his third term. Elections in January of 1921.
An old judge and lawman, Mayor Frost is tied to every political machine in the county. He served on the State Circuit Court before being elected Mayor and owns a huge mansion outside of town known as “Frost House.”
Physically impressive in appearance, Frost has broad shoulders and a balding pate. He’s been called “Papa Frost” by the papers for his easy, genial style. He loves to give interviews and shower the papers with stories.
