Calvert City Chronicle
POLICE OF THE SECOND WARD
The second ward is also known as Germantown. It’s been built up for decades by the presence of ACRC. When the Refinery was first established, ACRC began the construction of warehouses and low barracks for their workers. They shipped in hundreds and thousands of eastern europeans to work at the refinery. Germantown has expanded to encompass nearly the entire ward.
While the rest of the city was mostly paved, Germantown has a single paved road and trolley-line that runs by the gates of the ACRC plant. The police in this district rarely venture far from the train lines or the station. The rest of Germantown is policed by the private mercenaries of the Company, the Copperheads.
